Fully tested to European standards
Alongside the expensive lab testing we've had done our BSB rider Matt Bond had an enormous 120mph plus crash at the Easter weekend opening BSB round of the season, onboard his Mist Suzuki. Matt came away with only injuries to his foot, having hit the ground hard and then slid a long way down the start/finish straight. These images show the suit Matt was wearing. There are small tears in the stretch kevlar material at the groin but otherwise the suit is completely in tact - while these stretch panels do have kevlar woven in they are mainly for mobility on the bike, not outright protection. No seams burst or ripped and no area of leather abraided, despite the high speed and violence of the crash. Racers using arc-on don't get specially made suits, they get the suits we sell to the public. The quality is there for all to see.
